![]() Package Duration : 9 Days / 8 Nights Destination Covered : Gwalior - Orchha - Khajuraho - Jabalpur - Pachmarhi - Bhopal Day 1 : Gwalior Arrive Gwalior meet and assist, followed by city tour of Gwalior. The city of Gwalior, one of the favorite tourist destinations in India is located in the state of Madhya Pradesh at a distance of 122 km to the south of Agra. Apart from the places nearby the Gwalior tour packages thoroughly take you through the various tourist attractions as follows:

Day 2 : Gwalior - Orchha -Khajuraho Breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Khajuraho via Orchha. Orchha: In the 16th and 17th centuries the Hindu Bundela rulers, who were allies of the Moghuls, built up Orchha as a provincial capital on he banks of the winding Betwa River. On the bank of the Betwa River next to Kanchana Ghat, a short walk upstream from the town proper, are 14 sandstone Cenotaphs built in honor of the former rulers.Also visit Chaturbhuj Temple, Ram Raja Temple, Dinman Hardaul�s Palace. Transfer and check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Khajuraho Khajuraho. Morning proceed for half day guided sightseeing of both Western groups of temples famous for their spectacular Sculpture and erotic carving The Khajuraho sculptors may have been simply representing life as it was in the society, with unhampered sexual expression alongside many other day to day scenes. The carvings should be seen as a joyous celebration of all aspects of life. Day 4 : Khajuraho - Jabalpur Breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Jabalpur. On Arrival check in to Hotel. Evening free. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 : Jabalpur After Breakfast proceed to sight seeing tour of Jabalpur. The tourist attractions in Jabalpur are the Rani Durgavati Museum located south of the bazaar. The museum has a good collection of artifacts. It also has a section dedicated to artifacts and photos related to Mahatma Gandhi. Another place to visit is the Madan Mahal, a Gond fortress built in 1116. Located on a rocky hill this fort provides a panoramic view of Jabalpur city. Tilwara Ghat is significant as the place from where Mahatma Gandhi\\\'s ashes were immersed in the Narmada. Interestingly, the name Jabalpur is derived from the Arabic word\\\' Jabal\\\' which means \\\'mountain\\\' pointing to the ancient trade connection with Arab countries. Overnight at the hotel. Day 6 : Jabalpur Morning after Breakfast tour of Bhedaghat. Later transfer to Pachmarhi. On arrival check in to Hotel. Overnight in Hotel. Day 7 : Pachmarhi Pachmarhi is Madhya Pradesh's most verdant jewel, a place where Nature has found exquisite expression in a myriad enchanting ways. Each dawn at this lovely hill resort girdled by the Satpura ranges ushers in a day of tranquil beauty.
Day 8 : Pachmarhi Pachmarhi Overnight. Day 9 : Pachmarhi - New Delhi Bhopal Railway Station group for train to New Delhi. |
